IT Consulting Orange County
Let our IT consultants guide you on technologies that will support your Orange County business growth.
Poor technology choices prevent growth.
As your business grows, your technology needs to scale with it. Unfortunately, IT tends to get overlooked until it’s too late. Worse yet, software and hardware are often chosen based on whatever’s trending at the time, rather than on their ability to increase productivity and revenue or prevent data loss.
Not only will this cost your Orange County business many thousands of dollars in operational issues and lost productivity, it can leave you vulnerable to cyberattacks and their associated liabilities.

Orange County Case Study
How CMRE Financial Services transitioned their IT from a cost center to a profit center.
CMRE Financial Services, Inc. is headquartered in Brea, Orange County. They have specialized in supporting the financial needs of the healthcare industry since 1974. With a growing workforce of over 500, they rely heavily on a fast and stable network to facilitate financial transactions between healthcare providers, patients, and insurance companies. As their clientele database and workforce grew, they began to experience recurring server outages and network downtime. These issues persisted until, in their words, “We were trying to grow and scale as an organization, but our technology infrastructure and IT operations were holding us back.”
CMRE knew they had to address their network stability issues but they were unable to get to the root cause on their own. Leadership decided to turn to outside expertise and partnered with Ubisec to come to the aid of their internal IT team.
“Ubisec came in and consulted with our VP of IT. Once they understood our needs, they designed and proposed a multifaceted solution that entailed various IT infrastructure improvements, including local and wide-area networking equipment, more robust and redundant internet services, cybersecurity solutions, and a cutting-edge virtual server infrastructure. The implementations were done in phases so as to minimize any disruptions and limit our risk exposure. This was ingenious, since we could compartmentalize and isolate each section of their solution into a modular, incremental approach.”
Ubisec’s engineers recognized the signs of an IT system that has been expanded in an ad hoc fashion to keep up with an organization’s growth, where components are not well integrated and often not sufficient for their tasks. To solve CMRE’s network stability issues, Ubisec implemented LAN switching, new Campus Core and datacenter switch fabrics, and routing optimizations to squeeze bandwidth out of low-bandwidth links. They identified gaps in data backup and recovery, and designed solutions to ensure CMRE’s on-premises and cloud systems are disaster-proof.
“Ubisec rolled it all into a seamless IT services experience. We have effectively resolved every issue we experience prior to engaging Ubisec. IT downtime has become a thing of the past, and we’ve used our cutting-edge technology to stay ahead of the game and beat out our competitors. Our employees have a renewed trust in our IT department. Our business has grown and our customers, partners, and vendors all view us as forward-thinking in our industry due to our cutting-edge solutions that Ubisec have implemented over the years. We have also never experienced a cybersecurity incident with Ubisec’s cybersecurity technologies and initiatives in place. Fifteen years later, we still rely on Ubisec for their expertise, responsiveness, customer service, and top-notch service delivery.”

IT consulting is the provision of advisory services designed to help the client formulate an effective IT roadmap for their business. It takes into account operational processes, company size, budget, and the capacity required to develop the most cost-effective and beneficial IT strategies.
It can be separated into two operational sectors: management consulting and technology consulting. Management consulting examines a business at the operational level and delivers an IT strategy that optimizes its processes and trains its people. Technology consulting covers IT infrastructure, assessments, and remediation.
Several situations can indicate that you’ll benefit from the work of an IT consultant. These include:
• Transitioning to new processes, such as remote work, cloud computing, or enhanced security
• Organizational growth, and indications your IT is not keeping up
• Indications your staff are not competent/comfortable with your productivity and security tools
• General dissatisfaction with IT performance
